My wife announced that she wants a divorce a week and a half ago, a day after we got into an argument, and she sucker punched me in the back of the head. She ended up with a boxer's fracture, and is currently in a cast. I have a concussion and am heading into the dr today to get it documented. This is not the first time she has gotten violent during an argument, she also tackled me while I slept and I woke up to here slapping and trying to choke me/grab my shirt by the neck. She's also thrown silverware at my head in front of our kid.

We have a daughter together, and she has two kids from a previous marriage (only one spends time with us, the other is in college). We've been married 9 years, and I bought a house with the proceeds of my condo sale just after we were married. We're in Colorado, so it's a "no-fault" state from my understanding.

I have no idea what to do. She wants to split "amicably", however, everything is now a slight or argument in the house. She moved into a space bedroom. I have no idea how to proceed. I want to keep this house, as it is down the street from our kid's schools, and a good location. She can in no way afford the mortgage, but she has also never contributed to ANY mortgage payments, insurance, utilities, etc.

Im sorry, this is stream of conscious, but I am honestly at a loss at what to do.
