Happened to my best friend… It all went down after his wife came home after fucking her co-worker.

He had gut feeling this had been going on for some time, and on that Sunday she claimed she had to put in “extra hours at work”. So he asked me to watch the kids, and to come over the second she left. He was able to follow her car, saw her go into the man’s apartment. Then came back to relieve me. She came home at night, after the kids were asleep in bed. He confronted her with the evidence (pictures of her outside the apartment). She quickly denied it, but didn’t even offer an explanation. She refused to talk and then tried to crawl into bed with the daughter. He followed into the bedroom and demanded an explanation about it (in retrospect, this was a bad move. He should’ve kept his mouth shut, orrr recorded the whole conversation).

Unbeknownst to him, she texted her girl friend while laying in the bed. That friend called the cops to his home. Minutes later, there is a knock on his door, to his surprise, there were 5 cops asking to come in his home. He obliged. And then within minutes, he was handcuffed and on his way to jail. He said it all happened so fast. They wouldn’t even tell him why he was arrested. It wasn’t until he got processed in jail did he learn that he was charged with sexual battery and 3 counts child endangerment (even though the other children were in different rooms; didn’t matter, they were in the house). Bear in mind, there was absolutely no evidence of physical contact to either of them…, only her word.

Many lessons learned. Most important; record any and all confrontations

After hearing many horror stories, I guess I was "lucky" (?). For me, the police were never involved. She saved her fake DV complaint for court. The judged just yawned. He didn't care. And THAT says volumes about Family Court. Think about it: I've just been accused of several violent felonies against my own kids. But she never called the police or told a doctor. Instead, she told her lawyer. Why didn't the judge have me arrested? Reminds me of those women who say they were raped -- but post it on Twitter and never call the cops.

The judge still gave me unsupervised access to my kids, which just goes to show he didn't believe her. And that bugs me: If he thought she was lying, and did nothing, it undermines the integrity of the entire court. If they ignore brazen perjury, then it all means nothing.

I hope your story doesn't end with police involvement. Those stories NEVER end well.

My D was kicked off with a call to police outside of my town. They were like go home and get divorced. Thank god I didn't get arrested. The rest sucked though. Prepare for an ugly war.

has anyone ever pre emptively contacted the police to notify them that their spouse is threatening to file false a DV complaint to have it on record? my lawyer strongly advised against it. plot twist, we're both kind of friendly with a few officers in our town, she has REALLY ramped up the messaging and dm's in fb and insta according to a lot of them in the last 2 years since i caught her cheating, im sure in her mind the schmoozing is supposed to get her on their good side.

Call the police to see if something was filed. My accuser called the police and they issued a warrant for my arrest without ever contacting me to get my side of it.

My former wife once file a DV complaint in GA without my knowledge. I found out I had a Warrant for my arrest because I was getting solicited by lawyers via mail...I called and discovered she payed $25 to file the complaint. She said "I pulled her hair in front of the kids" I did no such thing. So I was charged with assault and child endangerment...her family convinced her to drop after I had to turn myself in, job done and paid bond..the state of GA took up the case after she dropped it. I had to do PAID anger management classes, ...and probation...sucked. I did nothing but made her a house wife...
