Divorced for 6 mos, in my own place for 3 mos, ex has moved on, BIG time. (She told me so, not to be mean really, but i know) , 22 year relationship 2 kids house/dog/cars. Nobody cheated Nobody hit anybody Nobody spent all the money on vices, just conflict. She decided lawyers solve problems better than therapists so here we are. LOGICALLY I know that: -I have culpability in my relationship I was not perfect. -Against everything I feel, this may be for the best. -Regardless of anything it is not good for my kids to be in anger and hate their mother. HOWEVER My past relationships I never had to see that person again. Now with kids I feel like I have to see and talk to my ex more often than when we were married. I hate her voice. I hate her face. I hate her stupid new tattoo. I don’t talk to her and don't want to, I don't want to overhear that she's going to a concert this weekend. I want to know as little as possible about her and frankly it's all i can do to not scream at her what an aweful c@@# she is every time i see her. I am extremely uncomfortable even knowing I'm GOING to see her. My anger is useful to me and I don't want to completely let it go, but I also can't live like this and know it's not good for the kids. But I will also never forgive her for this, even if I can be calmer. Does it ever get better?
