Just heard this on Tulsa King a few days ago, it also hit me but not as bad cause it's going on to two years for me. Let yourself feel out your emotions in private. I used to cry like a little kid on my way from work cause I missed going home and instead to an empty apartment. You will eventually become immune. Also, find some jobs on the side that pay cash. I scrapped money and was flipping cars, then I flipped a couple of homes. No one is going to come and save you, so you have to do it yourself. Good luck bro!

The shit can hit you hard at the strangest times. It happens to all of us. If you need to cry, just cry and get it out. But don’t stay there. Feelings come and go. Do your best not to wallow in the sad or the angry. It’s actually better to be angry (not violent) than sad or depressed too long. You’ll get through it. I just had a bout of feeling like shit myself. 7 months in and the waves still come in. No rhyme or reason. It passed though. I’m doing better now. You will too. Start slow. Be patient with yourself. Yes, the gym, hobby, friends, books all solid advice and worth taking. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Pick one and start. Give yourself grace. You’ll make it through.

Make a list. Number it hold yourself acountable. Start with whatever you are letting slide that's depressing you or causing anxiety. I had divorcenon mine.. lol

Maybe Start listening to more angry music, revenge music. It was lyrics born and the heavy for me.

It will get better. It's so hard at first, especially if you have kids. My advice, love them and yourself as best as you can. Find hobbies, keep yourself engaged in them.

It will be good in a while. You are suffering the loss of so much. You will go through a grief process. That's totally fine and normal. I'm not divorced or even filed yet but it's really been over for so long I'm at the point I'm fine with it. I can't wait to start taking care of myself and my house for a change.
