Amazing the lengths some would go to to avoid being fair.

Picked up a "new" vehicle last year (mind you it has >100,000 miles on it)

My previous vehicle had 235,000 miles on it before the oil pump went out and grenaded' the top end. Needs a new engine. Rented on Turo for a while but that obviously does not make sense long term, especially with kids.

She proceeds to follow me around town, take photos of the new vehicle and submit to the courts as an exhibit as to why I should receive less from equitable distribution as I was able to purchase an suv with over 100,000 miles on it and is 6 years old. This is on top of the fact that she makes almost twice my salary.

This is a person who I gave many thousands of dollars towards the purchase of their brand new (less than 3,000 miles) vehicle months before she filed for divorce.

Imagine a man following an ex around town, taking voyeur like photos of her vehicle and submitting them to the courts...
