today "its just your turn" and odds dont get any better your 2nd 3rd time around. Women today are meant to be around for the time in which they serve, anything longer than that only complicates life. Learn from your lesson, get the Disney fairytales out of your head and accept that marriage is only significant RISK to the MEN. WOmen dont have any risk getting married, in fact their net worth grows each time they get married - whether you're around or not

Enforced monogamy has been dead since no fault divorce, that's why I stayed single and never married. I'm not getting into a contract where the other party can be paid to break it. Though a fun one I always pull is "I'l give you all the perks of marriage the wedding etc but I don't want the government involved i.e. no marriage license therefore no lawyers" and watch how quickly they lose interest in me. If it was actually about love and commitment they'd jump at the chance right? but when they can't bring the government in to screw me, it's "that's not what I'm looking for".

My stbxw literally went back to her home country and asked for a divorce by text a few days after. Like it was a simple breakup. Easy come, easy go.

Marriage in 2022 is nothing more than an emotional relationship with extra steps to end it and massive financial and emotional consequences if you commit hard enough to make it work.

I now fully understand why couples in Western nations wait YEARS to get married even after having kids. I'll be taking that example too.

I am writing a book to help men through nasty divorces by using nasty tricks themselves.

The shocking thing i am finding is that the law and history see men as animals, vicious, capable of vile acts while they view the women as opposite.

The law has never been so strong as it has now in history. Men haven't been so...civil as they have now. The old judgements, the basis, the law, the customs, etc.. are all based on men being savages and women being helpless, the equation gets fucked when men act meekly and with compassion. This change has happened in the last maybe 50 years for western men, but the laws are the laws. Also, low economic class men still act in a more...aggressive stance as they have nothing to lose but a lot to lose at the same time.

I would actually make the argument that the current state of law forces men into becoming evil, as they find themselves without a voice. My bitch of an ex left me destitute, false allegations, child abduction, the whole shebang, the judge laughed in my face and asked how much hundreds of dollars i could pay for child support, this is when i was out of Canada and only making 200+ dollars a month.....but it was in following the established pattern of law and child support, which is incredibly stupid as the full context does not come in, and the judge wont let you bring it in.

Family court can strip you off all rights, something criminal court or even a full on judicial enquiry cannot do. because it used to be a wild west not more than 50 years ago, and still is,. People spend months and years in jail unable to pay child support, and having that support piled on. i could go on and on...

the contract needs to be avoided until the government gets the message. adopt kids and try IVF. the nordic countries and japan are seeing the effect..they are now changing their laws and stances.

By all measures, contemporary marriage is essentially what’s known as an unconscionable contract. Women are taking advantage of men in every way possible, and the government is enforcing this unscrupulous behavior. To sum the current circumstance: women have choices, men have responsibilities. Marriage only benefits women. Men accept all of the risk. Marriage amounts to a no-win struggle of mutually assured disappointment. In this era there are no appreciable advantages for men to marry even the most ideal of women.

I do not agree, however, I will agree the pool of people that have the mindset of of traditional marriage in our society is becoming smaller and smaller.
