35 years old. Three kids, ages 5, 3.5, and 2. Ex-wife is borderline personality, and it’s bad. Went nuts in 2019 and started sleeping all over the place with two young kids at home. The third was conceived during the month I was still sleeping with her during her adventures. He is tested to be mine, as are the other two. She was married again this October to a convicted felon twenty years older than her, within two weeks of our divorce decree being finalized. Last Friday I graduated with a Master’s degree I started in the fall of 2020, completed while working full-time.

She continues to drive up legal fees needlessly. Marital estate has been settled and she is paying child support. Further, she agreed to cover childcare until the youngest enters kindergarten. I conceded her choice of school district. This agreement avoided a frivolous custody suit she filed. Custody has been 50/50 since she threw me out of the house in May 2019.

Should I think about representing myself in court? It’s been $70k in legal fees so far, and I am hemorrhaging money all around. There was a bit of a windfall after the sale of the marital residence this past January, but it’s being destroyed, and I don’t know what to do. She refuses to go to therapy.
