You are already divorced and have 50/50 parenting and you are feeling great and alive.

It does not make any sense to go back. I would say what is done is done and best you can do is to tell her respectfully that you don't feel the same.

People tend to fall towards their old patterns and the older we get the harder it is to change so be careful of pretentiousness. I say all this to also give her grace and tell her you don't hate or have animosity towards her, you just don't think she is a good fit for you. You already have your answer. You have moved on.

24.5 years married; divorce final earlier this month....2 major separations and a life of ups downs and all arounds. Going back reconciling circling the block, whatever term you use will net the same result if you both don't take the time to work on your selves and choose each other again from a place of change and realignment. Going back for any other reason is just prolonging the inevitable...people men and women both change when they are sick and tired of being sick and tired

Difficult to say of course. Does best behavior mean she’s corrected behavior or she’s just being nice? Most times it’s a fly trap from what I’ve read here and elsewhere. If she cheated, that would be an absolute no for me and you don’t have to share your business like you said but without giving details you’ll only get general advice. The quality of response can only mirror the quality of information shared. You should be anonymous anyways but even asking the question you have one foot out the door it seems so maybe go based on the friction you feel about returning.

Exhaust every avenue before you proceed to divorce. For your family especially the kids. Some relationships can’t be saved. If she’s willing put the time in and try. Just my opinion. Take it from a guy that missed his kids at home

Dont be plan B. Because she will keep looking for Plan A, all you'll be is a open wallet until she's ready to bail again

THe only reason you should go back is to get your ass in the house and not give her all the days with the kids WHEN you eventually are done-done.

Get a custody plan asap

Why they all do this, subconsciously try to run the guy off with attitudes, disrespect, bad home energy, secrets, they still do the minimal to look not so blatant, I think they want to call it they want you to call it so they don't have to carry the responsibility.

Sometimes is better to swallow your pride.

Have a plan b prepared though and go step by step.
