My case has basically gone to hell.

I'm out of money and nothing has been resolved.

My ex has very expensive attorneys working on credit.

All my remaining equity is tied up in 2 houses which they have blocked selling.

Now that I am out of money why is it a bad idea just to self file for a trial date and go to trial and end this? Pro se

This is in California. There are no kids.

Assuming I am pro se and represent myself at trial, and my wife had a massive legal bill at the end, unpaid, will the judge most likely split her legal bill with me even though I am pro se? I have offered to settle and mediate approx 5 or 6 times in writing but they are not interested.

In that case that we go to trial there will 100 percent be nothing left for me anyways and probably nothing left for her either if we go to trial with her very expensive attorneys, the lawyers will get everything

Or will going pro se make the judge be more likely to at least say her legal bills are hers or doesn't matter they will split her massive unpaid legal bills 50 50 on the remaining home equity
