Just remember what you put into the universe is what you get back. Right now it feels like everything is sh*tting on you, but it can also be a matter of perception. What I mean is that if you can mentally put a spin on things to make it more positive, you'll reap the rewards of that positivity.

Look up the law of attraction. Also I'm sorry about your mother, my mother has the same diagnosis just recently. We'll all get through it brother.

So much truth to this. It really does pour, and it's hard to see it now, but the lower the downs you experience, the greater the ups. Life engulfs us with shit and your ability to handle it will make you a stronger person. A person that will have a much greater capacity to enjoy the good times than the person you were before these horrible experiences. Feel the bullshit and pain but keep the faith.

Things always get worse before they get better, and there are upsides.

You need to go through the divorce to move to the next stage of your life. The only alternative is to continue doing what you were doing before, which you can't. You are moving forward. This process is life progress. Don't look behind you, look forward.

Your mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The alternative is that she wasn't diagnosed and both she and you were oblivious to the disease which is eating her from the inside. Would it be better not to know? No. Knowledge of the disease gives you the opportunity to fight it.

Both incidents you describe are sharp turning points in beautiful stories. They are not the damnation you think they are, they give the protagonists the opportunity for change, grow, and thrive.

So sorry, life has been tossing crap at my me nonstop too. I told my ex this is the exact stuff that would be hard on top of an ugly divorce.

Like others said, day by day. Hour by hour or hell minute by minute if need to. You are the focus now. Try to care for yourself as best you can. Good luck brother.

Sorry that you are going through this. That is a lot to deal with; just take things one day at a time. If you have a hobby or something that makes you happy, please make time for it. Your kids and mom need you.
