For one it’s not rare for men to be mistreated because of gender. What a joke- it happens all day every day.

But also when they put these qualifiers on, you know it’s not real. They do the same thing about race. It’s not about helping people who get mistreated. It’s about asserting their rules on who gets mistreated. They want the power to define what mistreatment is valid.

I mean, the definition is in Webster’s, so it’s not exactly an obscure term… But she’d rather just redefine the reality away w misandry being “rare online mistreatment of men” and misogyny being “ubiquitous mistreatment from everywhere imaginable.” And that’s not hyperbolic at all.

Actually a lot of misandry is experienced in social media and particularly the entertainment industry- where widespread misandry is downright rampant- and technically, yes, that can be “turned off”. But that begs the question of why so much in the social media and public entertainment realm is hateful to men in the first place and how reasonable it is to require men to simply have no social media presence or entertainment in order to avoid sociopathic misandrist antagonism.

“Just no longer see movies, shows, video games, etc, and no longer be involved in social media. OK, men? See? No more misandry. Oh, and don’t make me have to interact with you on the street either. Ugh. Then I won’t treat you w misandry…”
