I'm just not a charismatic guy. I don't have a lot of charisma. I don't even know exactly what charisma is and what constitutes it. It takes a while to get to know me, I don't project myself, my humour is more of an acquired taste. That's just who I am, and I love that about myself

All it does is shift the issue from something I can't control, to something else I can't control. It doesn't help or alleviate any stress I feel, it just shifts the problem

Sure I could learn how to be more charismatic and fake it to get more attention, but that would just be putting myself in a worse position. Someone may like me only to discover the persona they actually liked was a facade

I don't want to have to fake my personality for the chance at a relationship. I want a partner who I'm able to be my whole self around

Also I'm not attracted to people with charisma, I want someone similar to me

This seems to be a recurring thing that happens, people shift the problem but don't alleviate it. I've seen the same happen for when a guy complains about not feeling masculine enough to attract women then someone brings up K-pop stars without recognising how it's just shifting the goals
