Hate how much emphasis people put on 'personality'

Be kind to others. Be respectful. Embrace who you are. Be comfortable in your own skin. Be a decent human being. I think these are more of the personality traits that people speak of.

Other personality traits are in the realm of personal preference. Like you have a preference, people do too. There may be some more popular traits, but it never is all or nothing.

Learn to be appreciative of other people’s traits around you. When you notice them, maybe mention those things to the people. Even when you are introverted, giving little compliments to others never hurts. Being an introvert must not be easy. Introverts usually get noticed less than extroverts. Let people know you are there, and you appreciate them. Help people notice you a little bit.

When people talk about personality, it's usually in regards to compatible personalities. You don't have to change who you are. But there are good qualities over bad qualities that people look out for.

Good personality traits: Altruism, good manners, respectful, considerate, nice, easy going.

Bad personality traits: Arrogant, self absorbed, no empathy, rude, disrespectful, talks over you, doesn't care about boundaries, uptight, etc.

Also people can pick up on social ineptitude and it could be a turn off. Like if you're socially awkward.

You don't have to be extroverted but most people like others with a similar sense of humour and similar interests to them. If they can't really gauge your sense of humour because it's always receptive and you just let other people make the jokes and laugh at them, or they can't really gauge your interests because you won't self-disclose unless asked a direct question about yourself, well, put it this way: the kind of girl like that is also waiting to be asked questions and spoken to, to speak. If neither of you are initiating, how will you get to know each other? This is why introverts usually end up with someone who has a stronger personality and who is more talkative. It's a simple matter of how things get started in the first place.

If you want a girl like that, paradoxically, you have to push yourself to come out of your shell a bit more and initiate conversations and plans. Then once you've established you enjoy each other's company, you can relax a bit more into your more chill nature.

You don't have to be an extrovert. Many women like a quieter, more stoic man. It's more about developing the generally positive traits others mentioned, like being compassionate towards others, self-aware, learning general relationships skills etc etc.

Personality important for friendships but I agree the advice of working on your personality and you will find success is so false.

Try having a bad personality and looks, at least a decade of therapy can change personality.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you want two things: 1. Being "yourself", meaning being confident, being the way you already are etc. and 2. Being attractive.

None of these things are static. There are many ways to feel confident and being oneself, and there is many ways to be attractive. The combination you have found doesn't work. But who says that is the only combination? Do you think the way you are now, is the only way you can be confident?

Changing one's personality is definitaly possible. It's not fun, it's hard work, and there is a lot of trial by error.
My general advice is that people change themselves before the complaine and demand that others change what they consider attractive.

Your personality is about as moldable as any other part of your body (100%)

Though we have not unlocked actual body modification, through epigenetics/psycho surgery we do know that the entire brain is moldable in our entirety of life. Myers 2020.

Through the discovery of our nervous system that connects our entire body to our brain, we now know our body is an extension of our brain which is divided into 3 main sections/functions. Stem, limbic, cortex. Myers 2020.

We also know that behaviour and experiencing behavior of other things (people, places, animals, forces of nature) created the stimulus that charges and sends signals from were we received stimulus to the brain which then processes it and creates a neuro chemical reaction. Myers 2020.

Thus our environment shapes our genetics which means our hereditary genetics are a set point not a set in stone point.

And we know that we are capable of being anything and anyone we want provided we follow the laws of epigenetics which is match your thoughts: feelings, actions, and environment to the desired behaviour you want to master and you will master it.

Your journey in red pill and other areas should prove all these things and provided enough evidence for you to see what you absorb you become.

Want to be funny, focus on sorround yourself with funny. Same with charming, etc.

This is evident by the law of homeostasis which is the fact that wether it harms us or not our body always tries to maintain a balance internally and externally Myers 2020.
