Probably just something you pay more attention too. I think most people date within there race. This is one of the most common interracial parings however, I can’t deny that, maybe Asian women and White men as well, depending where you live. I think it is just the degree of attraction the groups have for each other

I don’t know the answer, and no science behind this but I think porn plays a factor, as well as rap music being the most popular music right now, many of the popular female influencers dating black guys, and the SJW movement (virtue signaling).

From what I’ve read penis size is mostly a myth. White men are mostly growers, and black men mostly showers. The “end result” averages are basically the same.

I think it's really difficult to answer any questions regarding race on this subreddit. It opens up a huge box of problems that involve stereotypes and generalizations.

That being said... I'm friends with this couple. White girl and a black guy, they have been together for years and have a baby together. They would have been married by now if it weren't for covid.

We live in a blue state but even then they've had to deal with a lot of racist people. People staring at them, making stupid comments, and even her own family stopped talking to her for awhile. Her parents lost their minds when they first found out she was with a black guy, and it took them a long time to warm up to him.

I admire how this couple has overcame a lot of bullshit and they have only become closer together for it.

I get it that certain people are fetishized and others are demonized. But I believe we are all just people at the end of the day. There's no way all people just date each other on a whim and for the sole purpose of sex. If that were the case, then some couples who belong together (despite what racist people say) wouldn't bother staying together to make it work.

Okay. Colorism is an issue amongst *some black males. Not all but some. When I was growing up, I would hear about black guys (dark skin guys in particular), fetishizing over lightskin, white, mixed, or Latina women. Rappers do this A LOT.

When Lil Yachty was being interviewed, they asked him if he liked "snow bunnies". It came as a shock when he said he liked "chocolate". It goes to show how prevalent it is amongst the culture in Hip-hop.

Not all black men are like this. Some don't care what race she is.

Black women on the other hand, are less likely to date out which I don't get. It's as if they have to prove some type of loyalty but this is changing but slowly.

When I moved to Georgia I met an older black lady who NEVER dated out and it shocked her that I did. She wanted to know why😭😭 Only thing I could say is, "because a 'man is a man' "🤷‍♀️

Sounds like you're hating. I'm black and most of my boys are into black women. Do black guys date white women? Obviously but it's overstated. Even post slavery you had black men dating white women and some even married them. This isn't new

Maybe the guys you see with white women are guys that those women are into??? It's that simple. The fact that you keep trying to attribute it to some stereotype about black men is ridiculous. African American men and white American men have a lot in common depending on the region of the country. We did grow up in the same country... white women understand that and Americans with sense understand it also.

I'm not sure about that, I'm the opposite, white guy with a black girlfriend. And no, it's not because I fetishize that race, I just live in an area where I'm exposed to a diverse group of people, so the odds were that I'd eventually probably date someone of another race.

I used to think that people were alot less racist today and accepting of interracial couples. I'm in Ohio and while it's gotten better, it still exists. If we're anywhere that's not a college campus, we'll get stares and disapproving looks. And no, I'm not paranoid, my ex was white and we never got these looks lol. We've also had vocal disapproving family. So yeah, it sort of makes sense why people date within their own race, there's alot of social pressures to do so.

You shouldn’t be fashioning yourself after any one group of men thinking that it’s going to increase your chances of getting with women. “Imitating” an entire racial group is just unnecessary. What you’re basically saying is that you acknowledge that whiteness has been the template all along and that blackness is nothing more than a fad by which you need to keep up with in order to not get left behind. Being black isn’t a trend. Playing into stereotypes, even if you think they’re positive ones, is still just racist. This is not a matter of them having some thing you don’t. It’s just your insecurities convincing you that everyone else around you has it all figured out. Interracial dating has just become more common and that should be considered a good thing. The only way for it to become less taboo is for people like you to stop fetishizing and pondering about all of the racial taboos and motivations involved in their relationship. What seems like a common attribute with the black men I’ve been attracted to so how comfortable they are with their bodies and with talking to women.

It could very well be that the racism they grew up with made them stronger somehow in that regard, but in the past, looking back on it, I feel like the black men I’ve talked to gave me really strong “be yourself” vibes. Just really mature people comfortable in their own skin that made me feel like they liked the female sex just for the sake of it, so I felt like I could be feminine without being taken advantage of…

But I’ve met white, Hispanic, and Asian guys and like that as well. It has more to do with how much you worked on your own self-improvement and developed a strong moral foundation, I think. A strong sense of self.

I think what you might be seeing is just that when certain people face more adversity they have to grow up faster, and women tend to be attracted to maturity in men.

Edit: In my experience, expecting external qualities like looks and penis size to be the main attraction is more of a male thing. It’s how I think I’ll feel about myself, and us, when I’m with a guy that gets my hormones going. The thought of someone’s dick, for me personally, would never cross my mind…my end goal is never the sex. However, the best sex I ever had was with a guy that had a below-average penis size…more pleasure, less pain. I suppose bigger penises are nicer to look at but I don’t sit around looking at penises. I don’t decorate my room with them either. It’s not a go-to hobby for me.
