No offence man and I'm sorry if this comes off as confrontational but I've noticied you have a habit of posting threads like this where you ask questions like this in hopes of getting an answer. But when you do get answers you often argue or pushback against the people answering who in turn pushback against you and the entire thread ends up going nowhere

When you post these threads do you ever actually learn anything? Do they help you at all? Do they alleviate any of the turmoil you feel? What do they actually achieve?

You obviously have questions that you want answered, but one of the scariest and most arduous things in life is learning that some questions don't have answers.

I did what you do now. I would post threads very similar to this one trying to figure stuff out that couldn't really be figured out because they're so nebulous it was a waste of time and never actually helped me or went anywhere

Once again, sorry if you feel confronted by this. I'm not trying to accuse you or talk down to you or anything, because it's kind of obvious you're hurting and want someone to help you. I just don't think this is the best way to get it

Average is, by definition, what most people are. It is also the case that the majority of the population do find themselves in relationships. Therefore, being average is clearly not that much of a handicap, or indeed a handicap at all.

As the other commenter said, by definition average has to be somewhere between handsome and ugly. Using average as a synonym for ugly is like saying the average of 1 and 9 is 5, so 5 = 1. It's bad math and it annoys me to no end when people imply average means ugly.

There are an equal number of unique women as there are unique men. We all have individual preferences and deal-breakers re: attraction. Average to some can be uniquely beautiful to others.

Average is fine, personality goes a long way and in the end, most women are looking for long term partners so they are going to be seeing if you are compatible with them or if they like your personality.

Also, keep in mind "average" is just an aggregate, everyone has different tastes and you might be a 5 to one person, a 0 to another and a 10 to another.
