Well they think that all women are incapable of love and will leave/cheat on you as soon as someone more alpha comes along, so being against attachment to one particular female is like their "prevention" against it, and they are very adamantly against marriage.

Basically, they don't believe women can love to begin with, so if you were to ask me what they think of that twin flames/soulmate kind of stuff, I'd guess it just doesn't exist to them.

They always said that, but most of them at some point fell for a woman they fancied and then they'll call her 'Unicorn'. Which is the ultimate oneitising.

And the standard for this Unicorn is varied. I think there was a guy who called his GF Unicorn just because she made lunch and gives BJ on regular.

ok this is a complicated question.

first off, they believe that all women are narcissistic, manipulative, solipsistic, ruthless sluts. why would anyone want a real relationship with someone like that? thats why they strongly discourage marriage (because men dont GAIN anything from it) and discourage LTRs altogether. basically un reciprocated oneitis is definitely bad, but thats not even the full story. they are so terribly insecure that if you so much as take interest in a woman and want to be with her, you have oneitis. like they take it to the extremes. if you really like a girl, you have oneitis and you should "go fuck 10 other women" to get over it. after all, love is the delusion that one woman differs from another right??!?!?! no.

like i mentioned earlier, oneitis can certainly be incredibly unhealthy which is why this red pill concept is seemingly innocent at first. but they take it WAY further than that. it is often said over there that "LTR is red pill on hard mode". that should pretty much tell you everything you need to know about them.

they are against oneitis because they believe all women are horrible and subhuman. im against oneitis because it isnt healthy. the ironic thing here, is that this is extremely basic shit that you literally couldve been told by your grandma. like, "theres plenty of fish in the sea", and "get over her". like the only positive aspects of this concept of "oneitis" are actually the ones told by normal people lol. red pill takes "get over her, theres plenty of fish in the sea", and turns it into "women are all manipulative and narcissistic and will divorce rape you if given the opportunity and awalt. dont even give them the chance, never get into a relationship because shell lose attraction for you over time, and the sex will slow down if you stop manipulating her. after all sex is the only thing that matters right? thats all that women are good for so no need for an LTR!!" - see the difference?

I don't personally believe there is one single person meant for you, there actually are several people with whom you are compatible. With all this talk about 'the ONE' you should be careful not to stay in a relationship that has gone bad, believing in the dream ONE soulmate. It can make people stay in relationships too long or pine for a person that is already taken, believing they are their soulmates. I have read too many drama stories coming from people believing they met their one and only soulmate but for some spiritual reason they couldn't be together and they spend so much time still stuck dreaming about what could have been / should have been.

I do believe that if you find one of those special people that you are very much compatible with, and it works out practically as well, cherish that person instead of trying to wall yourself off from really caring about someone and spinning many plates as is the TRP ideal. They believe real love is impossible anyway so why bother.

The logical case against it is that many men become obsessed with their first love after she dumps them, and they are unwilling or unable to move on. They look back on that relationship with rose colored glasses and despair of ever finding it again. The thing I've noticed about guys like this is they often have a wildly different memory of it than their ex does. He may remember a sweet girl who was head over heels in love with him and who he worked tirelessly to please by giving her money and gifts; she may remember an emotionally stunted shallow manchild who valued wealth over everything else and expected her to be his mother. So really, oneitis can betray a lack of understanding about relationships and a view that women are some kind of alien species who work like coin-operated emotional labor dispensers; a solidly redpill concept.

Can someone explain what oneities are? Google doesn't seem to know either, though I can kinda figure it out from the response.
