Here's something I came to learn, especially on reddit. If you give weight to one piece of advice or a story on here, then you have to give equal amounts of weight to another story or piece of advice that says the complete opposite.

See a post about how a guy cheated on his wife? You'll find another post where a couple has been together for 30 years with no issues. See a post about Redpill values? You'll find another post that disproves all of that.

Which do you believe? Well, you have no idea to see the intentions of the post, and post history isn't always helpful. So, if you give weight to the bad, you have to give equal weight to the good, because you definitely can't know definitively which is true.

I can prove you wrong, but I can't really do this over a comment. "My" woman loves me and respects me. I know she loves me because I see how happy she reacts when she sees me after a day of work, all the small gestures she does to make me happy and also because she mentions all the time how much I mean to her. I know that she respects be because she asks for my opinion in difficuot situations. If I ask her to do or not to do things, she make the effort to comply. And all of the mentioned things apply the other way around too.

I am not a handsome guy, not a rich guy or fall in any category that would give grounds to dismiss my experience because "this guy is just a chad". Women in general still ignore me most of the times.

Also, I have been without a job for a couple months and spiraling into a depression. My girl carried me through that and didn't leave me for a better option, although she absolutely had them.

I know, I can't prove any of this to you, and you could dismiss it as just some sort of lie. But please consider that I have absolutely no incentive to do that. I will gain nothing from it. How you, dear OP, live your life and what you believe will most likely never affect me in any way. The only reason I did comment here is because I myself almost fell into the red pill trap and had thoughts like the ones in your post. And I am just so glad I dismissed them, because otherwise I wouldn't be in that relationship now. And from the bottom of my heart, I wish the same luck to you <3

Like any other humans, i have seen opportunistic women, and ive also seen women who sacrificed their youth for the people they cared about.

I am a somewhat below average looking guy who makes the average income. My wife had many better options than me. People much better looking, who made more money than me, who were willing to spend more time with her, etc. But she has done a lot for me without getting much in return, and I am grateful for that.

My experience with women was that most women except right wing trad wife nutjobs hate the "protect me" or "tough guy not weak" mindset. dont ever bother with that.

With my current partner I have learned that there can't really be love without respect. I respect him, his opinions, his experiences, his boundaries and he does the same for me. I have never felt this type of respect and love with anyone else. We treat each other with kindness, trust and respect and I think it's the most important thing for a relationship. Things will never be perfect within a relationship but you can only get through those issues with MUTUAL trust and respect.

In general I would advise to seek relationships (both platonic and romantic) with people who you share mutual respect with.

No way! I’m sorry you’re in such limiting beliefs, and the pain that has led you there. I have been deeply in love with men and respected them fully. I think respect and love go hand in hand. There are plenty of women who stay in a relationship or marriage longterm. You can’t say an entire group of people is one specific way.

Same thing can be said about men and theres actual statistic proof for this. Men are highly likely to leave their partner when she gets sick, women are more likely to stay and take care of a man. Men are more likely to cheat or leave women when they have a baby, gain weight, their body changes, etc. This is statistical FACT, so everything you said is moresoe for men actually if you wanna talk about quantitative proof

Unless we have 2 wildly different ideas of what respect means? I think it means to hold someones character in high regard or on a human note, to respect someone's rights. Or did you mean "respect" in the sense of "to fear" ? Again, I dont see why any of these feeling towards someone disqualifies love.

Another thing; This weird beleif you have is not a Redpill belief at all. In fact most "redpilled" men believe a woman's love is utterly dependent on her respect.

i love and respect my man more than any human being on this planet besides myself and my mother. what you consider “weakness” is actually great strength. it is hard to be vulnerable as a man so i am always impressed when my man is and it makes me respect him even more.
