hi there.

before i start, i just want to say, I'm not trying to me pretentious or self righteous, i am your average 15 year old kid who likes watching tv (criminal minds 😩) and eating pizza. so no, I'm not special, I'm your average joe.

i used to be an avid believer in "girls only like bad boys" and so i purposefully turned myself into a bad person. this obviously backfired really bad, but i learned some things about myself. everything that was toxic about myself that wasn't my "badboy" visage.

I remember I started a school club where on the first day, everyone was asked to introduce themselves. i made offensive jokes and ridiculed everyone. it was like i was that unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful teacher that everyone dislikes. anyways, i grew out of that.

now here's what i think. girls don't want a badboy. ultimately, nobody wants a person who's toxic and does bad things and is rude. but the thing that lures girls towards these types of people is that they're confident, but also let the girl be "free" and not impose any rules that might restrict them. they can have that "adventure" that they crave, but don't admit that they want. they also view them as "taboo" or "wrong", which increases a "badboy's" novelty. humans are drawn towards novelty. badboys also tend to be interesting. they also have charm and wit (a way with words). They know the right things to say, all the time, which becomes like a drug to the girl. lastly, these types of guys tend to ooze and drip with testosterone, the male hormone. so, add societal conditioning and biology, and it's no question these "badboys" have girls drooling over them. it just so happens that most of the people with these traits are well, bad people.

and for the girls who claim they only like badboys. i think it's just a phase. everyone has phases. it's just a part of growing as a person. enjoy it while it lasts.

thanks for reading. have a good day :)
