And teach your children to be emotionally independent so no one can control their life

Teach your children to break up with leeches who see their SO as less than, and do not do their fair share. Not doing your fair share, and seeing your SO as a servant is leeching. It's also not healthy to have a partner who somehow thinks they deserve more free time than you have.

More free time OR more spending money.
So many of posts on the relationship subs of women saying these men they are married to or have children with are making them pay half the rent and bills (or more) when he makes significantly more than she does. Which means he for some reason believes he deserves more spending money than his wife and/or mother of his child.

Basically teach your kids to be independent from the opposite sex, because you are not promised a perfect partner in life and need to learn to survive on your own. Can't know where the life takes you and being able to provide and care for yourself does everyone a favor, including yourself and your future partner and family.

Teaching how to work together with a partner to balance out the chores and how to achieve more together than independently would also be a swell approach.

My mom was a house slave. It made me so disgusted I went the complete opposite way.

Likewise, I actually struggle with neatness now because I associated it with sexism/domestic servitude

My mom taught me from a young age that every woman needs to be financially independent. We both know too many women who are stuck in bad situations because they depend on men to support them.

My mom never worked a day in her life and got divorced when I was 10. She never got her act together and basically just relied on food stamps, minimal child support, and being broke. I knew I’d never end up being like her.

My mother and I have a lot of problems...
But the one piece of advice she gave me that was solid as stone was: “always have your own bank account, your own money. Even after you’ve married. You never know.”
I’ve been in a lot of shitty life situations. Every single time, having the money (under my control) to get out without depending on anyone else has been massively, massively helpful.
Don’t let anyone take away your financial independence. Working together is one thing. Combining everything is a fool’s move.

I was never any good at either and neither was my partner. We figured it out together and things are balanced pretty much. I'm better and finances/investing, he is better at cooking. I am better at keeping the house tidy-ish day to day, he does deep cleaning/bathrooms.
But anyway, I sort of feel like all kids need to be taught both and more. That would be good.

So true ! Wished my mom taught my bro some housework. He expects only women to do the housework and also expects his gf to be financially independent.

Probably why he’s single

My dad taught me to be financially independent and my mom taught my brother to cook, clean, and do laundry.
I always thank them every day for that.

You don’t have to teach your daughter anything. Your daughter is smarter than the average man today! Simply remove the negative male influence off of her, and she will shine.
The message here is TEACH YOUR SONS TEACH YOUR SONS TEACH YOUR SONS
And that’s not enough, if you think you’re done start TEACHING OTHER PEOPLES SONS too.
Teach them to NOT RAPE Teach them to BE ASHAMED OF USING PORN Teach them to BE ASHAMED OF THEIR PEERS THAT MISTREAT WOMEN Teach them to BE AS PRODUCTIVE AND VALUABLE AS THE WOMEN AROUND THEM
The average woman is smarter than and being brings way more to the table than the average man today because we are not the ones walking around with a damaged prefrontal cortex from porn addiction. Read the pinned post on r/PornFreeRelationships for references
And remember
TEACH YOUR SONS
AND
OTHER PEOPLES SONS when you are done with your own

They should be taught that porn is shameful! It is rape and men want to hang on so much to their delusion of happy pornstars and prostitutes. The only time they say porn is bad is when they have ED or other areas of their life is slipping. They are not thinking about the lives of those they're watching. And hypocrites that they are, they don't want their daughters going down that path cuz they know the truth.

Cognitive dissonance and compartmentalizing by the pricks patriarchy has mass produced. Many of them aren’t worth an ass wipe. (And some have deteriorated their brains so bad they want to eat that ass wipe they aren’t worth!)
