I knew automatically this was a lie, and as you can see it is in my blocked box already. No man is losing his phone for 5 days at a time, ever, that's a ludicrous thing to believe.

However, I wanted to go the extra lengths to show it was a lie because his brand of the "I lost my phone" game is actually pretty good. Ordinarily men would say they lost their phone and apologize, he instead set this up to demand an apology from me and his pretend disappointment really sells the lie. A younger me wouldve fallen for it.

If he doesnt text me for a day(especially 5 such as this guy) DELETE. I'm so glad fds is here to remind me that it's as easy as that.

They do think we're idiots! And they mistakenly believe we give a fuck about their LV asses. I know my worth. If a scrote cant see it, that means he's a fool. Block, delete. Feels so good.

Good on you for verifying it and not falling for it. And he had the audacity to even try and make YOU feel bad! Like he was hoping to hear from you (oh I really missed talking to you) and you didn’t even contact him (you mustn’t really like him sob sob sob) and get you to feel guilty like you should’ve contacted him.

My god. You dodged a big time bullet there. I feel like he set up a test to see how you would react if he didn’t message you, and when you didn’t message first he played the guilt trip. Flipped the whole thing on you.

This is the problem, they can be so manipulative that it can be hard to know which way is up if you don’t have self esteem of steel and trust your gut. This is what I’m personally working on now - trusting my gut, even if I can’t verify something. My instincts know what’s up.

Haha, an easy way to see if they are available is to download a burner app number, text them "hi, this is Ashley from the bar last night"

Curiosity gets the best of them and they usually respond in some fashion. And there you have it, your answer. His phone is working and he is quick to responds if he wants to.

I usually text a hey what's up at the same time from my number and see who he responds to first.
