These men know exactly what they're doing . Throw in gaslighting into the mix when you call them out on their shady behavior. That's why I always give side eyes when women try to explain or give excuses for obviously LVM behavior.

I hate it when they're super sweet and attentive the first few months of getting to know you and you start to feel comfortable around them thinking that something good is happening but then they do a complete 180 and become inconsistent, hot/cold, lack communication, and the list goes on lol

There is no "letting" someone do anything. Men make intentional decisions. He doesn't continue treating you poorly because you let him. He does it because he wants to.
