This sounds so much like my (now ex) boyfriend. He said I was basic and replaceable, and clearly didn't care about me. But now I think about it, there are plenty of guys over 6'0, and all he did was go to the gym, play video games and work. He lived in a tip of an apartment, and had no real social life besides hanging around with other losers. MEN ARE MORE REPLACEABLE THAN US.

I was getting to know someone years back that was the epitome of boring, only watching anime a movies and playing games all day. Didn't make a effort to get a job or move his ass because "everyone just hates me" 🙄🙄

He even said he couldn't follow up to my thoughts as it was "too fast for him to process" and I clearly saw I was introducing him to so many things he never heard before.

Turns out it was bad for him feeling so inferior to me he kept acting hot and cold and being condescending until I snapped and blocked his lazy low effort boring brain dead ass.

Yeah, the AUDACITY be strong with some of these scrubs.

“Why dont you wear skinny jeans?” (This was in early 2000s, when straight leg/boot cut was popular) Never offered to buy my clothes, just talked trash about the ones I had. (Ex husband)
“Omg, I can see your makeup, eww.” (When I applied a light dusting of a shimmer brick on my cheeks, with mascara. Nothing else. No foundation. Nothing else)
“You don’t have a black girls body.” (I’m puertorican, which does have black blood. But....what?!??)
“I can see your gums when you smile.” That’s not including me being called ghetto because I was the first in my family to graduate w both undergrad and masters degrees. Being called a scammer because I’m Spanish...being called a whore because I’m Spanish....

So when I left him and started dated my ex boyfriend, he tried it too...he would say he hated cellulite (which I have) and that even though I didn’t look like I had twins, he could “sorta tell” because I have some stretch marks on stomach.

You know, it was hard. But not really, I just think I look so good -even better than before I was younger and had no kids. So they could never break me down but it was annoying hearing it.

Anyway broke up with them. Ex husband is still mad at me, which I don’t understand, since he cheated 🤷🏽‍♀️Ex boyfriend is still mad and stalks me because I dumped him after him being verbally abusive. They both hate me but won’t leave me alone🙄

My ex actually called me basic once because I was really into tea and scented candles at the time. “You’re so... basic.” It shocked me and remains one of the rudest things he’s ever said (even though there were a thousand red flags... and the cheating) because it came from a place of disregarding me entirely and not knowing me at all. In that moment I knew I wasn’t seen. We had been together for years at this point. And it was winter at the time. Everyone likes cozy shit in winter? And why is liking stuff other people like the biggest insult ever to you? Anyway, leveling up.
