I am a Dominican woman. Don't accuse me of generalizing, because I have never known what I'm about to say to not be true. Ask your Dominican sisters. Dominican men are culturally programmed to be LVMs. There is no hope for 95% of them, maybe even more. Abandon ship.

The same could be said about men from other machismo cultures, but Dominican men are something else. Their concept of masculinity requires that men view women as objects and domestic servants. However, men must also see women as a conquest and feel the need to keep conquering even after they marry. For them, marriage is for kids and guaranteed housework, all of which the man is entitled to. If the wife is mad, then too bad, because he's a man and that's what men do. If he decides to get up and start a new family, then that's fine too. If his wife displeases him and he slaps her around, that's fine too. What's most toxic about Dominican culture is the emphasis on manhood; if you are not what is conventionally deemed manly, you are NOTHING. Therefore, you have to adopt these attitudes or you risk social ostricization. Society worships a womanizing, entitled male existence.

Therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE to undo the damage. Almost all of them are serial cheaters with absolutely no remorse. You even get cool points if you are good at hiding your infidelity. This is what's most insidious about them, they are master manipulators and gaslight to the extreme. And to them that's just playing the game. They lack the foundation to even consider it might be wrong to mistreat your wife. Btw the wife has to be faithful because she's a woman. Basically, it's a society that rewards manipulating your partner because it makes you manlier. Dominican men care so much about what people think of them but not how their wives feel. Absolutely depraved.

So many women I have known went for Dominican men anyway and they all turned out to be entitled cheaters. Without fail. A common saying is your husband promises his love, not his dick. Don't even bother, he will never see you as an equal. It's not a concept they can understand.
