I think leveling up mentally and financially is a better focus. No matter how beautiful we look, if we don't have the right mindset or enough resources, we won't be able to either love ourselves and stand to our values and standards, nor attract a high value men. I wouldn't like women to think looking good is enough. 🤔

Changing your look may increase the quantity of men who are interested, but it will never effect the quality of men.

While I agree that confidence and attitude are the most important factors (which is why FDS is so important for women), physical attractiveness is a close second.

I'm not saying us women must subject ourselves to ridiculous beauty standards like being hairless and stick-thin, but taking care of our skin, maintaining a healthy lifestyle & working out go a LONG way in looking the best version of yourself.

It's BOTH, not one or the other!

I think if we understand a high value men as one whose qualities MUST necessarily include the willingness and the ABILITY to provide, looks do matter. No guy who works hard is gonna be with a woman who looks like she let herself go. Doesn’t mean you have to be perfect but I think looks do matter.

Especially men who aren’t just solidly able to provide but guys that are prestigious or have status, you should strive to look your best to attract a guy with a lot of options. He may have the best heart, and you may too, but if you’re walking around with an extra 40 lb, why would he look your way if there’s plenty of fit and attractive girls with also good hearts?

I’m not saying looks is the way to secure a HVM, but HVM tend to draw a lot of attention from women as well, and they tend to be sociable and “get out there” as far as I can tell.

In this scenario, if you want to build the best roster you can, I think looking your best is fully important. It’s how you get in the door with many, many things in life - including professionally.

Men, like women, who strive to better themselves, to have nice things, to move ahead, to grow in every aspect, tend to have this outlook of wanting the best of the best for themselves.

I don’t know how popular an opinion this will be here, but looking your best and improving your looks actively will definitely give you more options to date hypergamously so I would make it a priority.

If somebody asked me, I would rather attract high status, rich guys and then filter them out for high value and good intentions, than try to (what I think but can’t be sure) is a guy with a good heart only to find out he either can’t provide or doesn’t believe in providing. Then what?

Just don’t neglect the rest of yourself.

But the thing is that you say this, but then in other posts you will boast that you’ve “seen FDS users and they’re not femcels, many are model gorgeous” and that men do want them.

So is it that womens looks do matter or they don’t and there is a such thing as looking like a femcel or there isn’t because I’m kinda confused
