It's easy to feel negative about 'not fitting in', and we all have different ideas about what that means. But let's reframe it.

Maybe your apparent ethnicity and your accent don't 'match'. Maybe you've got some super niche hobby that no-one would expect when they look at you. Maybe you were born in a different socio-economic level than where you are now. Maybe you've got scars and stories. Maybe people are always questioning you, and wanting more from you. All of these things can be challenging to live with, but in fact they're all radiantly positive when you get out of your own way about it.

So people can't immediately suss you out when they first get to know you? Fantastic. You are a complex, accomplished, and interesting person who is living a life. It's not your job to help them put you into boxes or categories. Do you know how many people would kill to have a bit of a history, just to be more interesting?

What you need to realise is that meeting you is an exciting, compelling, and intriguing experience. If you're fortunate enough to raise more questions than you answer, then you do yourself a disservice by trying to conform or explain. People get a kick out of you just for existing, you're fascinating. Granted the plebs tend to show it in odd ways, and some of these can be really draining. Best thing is to live your life and leave them to their conjecture.

You've got mystique, lady, let it be!
