Exactly, there's no redemption arc or second chances if he cheats on you, lays a hand on you or ”accidentally” anally rapes you etc. There are definitely actions that are ”one strike and you're out” kind of deal. If he shows signs of lacking respect, morality, boundaries and self-control, you definitely don't need to stick around in hopes he gets better (not guaranteed to happen, likely to get worse and push your limits more actually), your best bet is to get a less defective man from the get go, who doesn't need changing his ways or your help building him up, and is consistently great and satisfying from the beginning.
