I find it incredibly disturbing that the other Reddit threads on this subject are making a big deal about the fact that Mia and Woody were not married so he was ‘technically’ never Soon-Yi’s stepfather as if that makes a difference?? She was his partner’s daughter and barely 18. The amount of apologists defending this man is repulsive. There are also plenty of threads calling Mia a dramatic compulsive liar. To me, I admire Mia Farrow for the fact that she went on to adopt special needs children, retired from acting and then came back to take roles specifically so she would have extra money to support her kids. It also speaks volumes to the veracity of her claims that all of her kids back her up in this situation.

One can glean that he’s a sicko from the content of his movies. In Manhattan, he played a 42 year old who is obsessed with and dates a 17 year-old, played by Mariel Hemingway who was sixteen at the time of filming. 🤢She says the minute she turned 18, he tried to seduce her by inviting her to Paris with him. When she asked for her own room, he dropped the idea and left.

In Crimes and Misdemeanors, the cheating husband has his mistress murdered so the wife doesn’t find out and we’re supposed to be rooting for him?

In Hannah and her Sisters, he gets to sleep with every sister... gross.

In Mighty Aphrodite, he plays a Pygmalion-type character to the much younger and more beautiful Mira Sorvino.

I could go on but you get the theme. He’s trash and anyone who supports him is trash.

I always knew he was a creep, but watching the docu really spelled out all his crimes.

He should be in jail.

But also, let’s take a lesson here and remember that individual women are not here to rehabilitate bad men. Mia helping him also enabled him. I’m not placing blame on her, but her heart was too big.

He married his one daughter (nope not arguing that point) after molesting and grooming her AND sexually abused his other daughter. Anyone who works with that cretin is an enabler in my eyes. Everyone knows what he did but turns a blind eye? For what? To be in one of his movies?

He' s not that good of a write or director. In his movies he makes it clear he hates women. And people of color.

I just happened to watch it last night when it was on. It was sooooo much worse than I thought. I was very young when even the pop culture references to woody Allen being a creep came out, so I didn’t understand it. The fact that so many different people saw Allen being inappropriate with Dylan was the most damning thing. Like sure, maybe Mia could have been vindictive and bribed one or two people. But that many unrelated people coming forward about seeing Woody and Dylan together is irrefutable evidence he was awful. Pretty amazing that Ronan made it his life’s work to shine the light on these high-profile sleaze bags.

He seems like the epitome of the self absorbed self pitying misogynist who becomes an abuser out of some kind of vindictive spite towards the world because of some ludicrous perceived victimhood of his own imagining. I wouldn't be surprised if he abused Soon-Yi just to torture Mia because she is beautiful, he seems like the type
