I totally agree with you and I think you’re 100% on point. Those are honestly my thoughts too. I’ve dated all four INxx, and INTJ men are the worst. It took me quite awhile to realize. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because INTJ women are one of my favorites... but finally realized INTJ men are essentially different from their women counterparts. They tend to be so entitled like no tomorrow.

Weirdly enough, I think INFJ men are pleasant in an odd way. They seem very warm and empathetic, although sometimes I can’t tell if they’re genuine. But INTP men and women (at least those I’ve known) are both very genuine that I totally agree with you haha. I think most of the time we just don’t care to lie. It’s too exhausting. Being true to ourselves and others is way easier.

Haha, my best friend is an INTP for a good reason. We have a stimulating, amazing dynamic and the couple of interactions I had with INTP women were very pleasant and invigorating. I genuinely am neutral about a lot of conversations and don’t easily obtain strong feelings of satisfaction because I sort of drift.

INTJ’s are interesting..

The advice for obtaining an INTJ is “catch them” I can’t imagine trying to chase and throw myself at someone I don’t know or care about. I’ve realized many of them have traumatic pasts/secret insecurity issues that they stifle and mitigate others concerns because they have done so themselves.

I’ve found a mild-moderate tendency of short term gratification methods with many INTJ’s such as alcohol, chain smoking, and excessive casual sex to avoid genuine intimacy (obviously if they are unhealthy)

I find INFJ’s are extremely...vast? Some are highly skeptical (with reason) and truly want to finally put themselves first and protect their hearts and truly wish for better, highly thoughtful and pleasant, while some others can be a bit elitist, and have a “I’ll eat you before you eat me approach” due to resent and end up being that toxic person, become their fear.

I can definitely talk smack about my type as well, I’m not biased at all, we all can suck eggs.

But I definitely seem to enjoy most INTP’s, and don’t leave the interactions wanting to jump off a roof.

Haha now I think of it, all the very close (very platonic too) male friends I’ve ever had (actually just 2) are INTPs as well. Both are very genuine people with almost childlike minds. It’s hard to describe but it feels like having a brother when you’re both 5. I can’t imagine having this kind of relationship with any other type.

Dating wise INTP guys can suck, but they suck in a different way than INTJs. I’ve noticed INTP men’s common problem is that they’re lazy and indecisive, like they would appear easygoing and agree with anything you suggest, then complain because they don’t like what you suggest. But they can’t give better suggestions. INTJ men are just insufferable and none of them got past the first date. 🙄 and yes I agree it seems like they’re avoiding something in themselves. They like to put on a facade but many of them seem insecure.

But INTJ women are completely different. Most of my female friends are INTJ. They may seem very aloof to others, but they are the sweetest once they’re your friend, and you would never have to catch them.

A good friend of mine is an INFP. She’s very intelligent and has a sophisticated aesthetic taste. The INFP men I’ve met are very artistic and interesting to talk to as well, but they seem a little too much of...daydreamers? And they all seem to have a melancholic vibe.

I agree with your views on INFJ too. I’ve dated one briefly and that’s honestly how I think about him. Surprisingly he seemed extremely rational, too rational it almost felt fake (if that makes sense?). He seemed extremely empathetic too it also almost felt like fake (😐). Maybe he just doesn’t want to open up unless the other person opens up first, I honestly don’t know. Tbh I feel like I’d be most compatible with INFJ men, but they’re too rare :’(

Have you ever dated outside of INXX? I find it very hard to date anyone outside the circle. They just don’t stimulate my interest :(
