I love your answers, even if it would have been simpler to just send an "ok" And block, I really enjoyed seeing him trying to make you sound clingy or needy and you just shutting him down every time.

Also, this "you're so sweet I don't want to hurt you" Line is so annoying... Men really feel like some type of heroes for using women and then dumping them under the pretext that they don't want to lead anyone on. It's amazing how fast they grow a conscious AFTER they have slept with you haha

You avoid these time wasters by taking your time to vet them. Do not rush and invite them over for Netflix and Chill dates after a couple dates. Do not be available for low effort dates. Do not put in more effort than them. Covid-19 is not a good excuse for inviting this stranger over your house. 2, 3, 4 dates doesn’t mean shit. He’s a stranger and you haven’t met the real him yet. This early in the dating phase they will say and do anything to get laid. He did you a favor by breaking up because he could’ve dragged this out longer and waited until you had sex.

You were too defensive. His “this is moving too fast” and “you’re too attached” is just a way for him to tell you that he doesn’t want to be with you without wanting to make himself feel bad. You took it personally but honestly - why? And why do you feel the need to justify yourself to him?

If you weren’t that serious about it, don’t send him long defensive paragraphs. Don’t entertain his roundabout bullshit. Just cut it off. You said it yourself, he’s done you a favour, and if you wanted to seem unbothered that would have been the way to do it.

And if you want to avoid guys like this, don’t get intimate with people you don’t know at all, especially in the middle of a pandemic. You still have a lot of work to do on yourself in my opinion, use this time to do it.

He just wasn't that into it, and he sensed--rightly or wrongly-- that you had feelings for him. (Of course he had no problem having sex with you, but holding hands was too affectionate/boyfriendish for him to handle 🙄)

Doing this by text right after he came over to basically just have sex with you is LV all the way. Honestly I would have just said, in response to his first paragraph of garbage, "ok, take care" or even better-- nothing at all. He doesn't really deserve anything else.
