Unfortunately, he got what he wanted from you (the photos) after only two weeks of talking. He has no further incentive in his mind to keep you around. It's also possible he was cheating and his SO caught him.

This is why waiting and laying down boundaries is a key part of FDS. It wouldn't have kept him around any longer, but you wouldn't have wasted two weeks on him and could've spent that time on someone worthy of your attention.

I was involved with a guy once who would ghost me for weeks and come crawling back, beg for another chance only to stand me up and ghost again. I was just another girl on his rotation and he had women local to him but loved how attached I would get.

Happens all the time. They don't care about connection like we do. They're always looking to upgrade. I wouldn't be surprised if you hear from him again later because the other woman didn't work out. Or maybe he was in a relationship and got caught using the app. This is why we can't get invested in one man. We have to keep our options open until we find a man who's proven himself for months or even longer. Some women here will continue to date multiple men until they get engaged.

We didn’t send nudes, but I allowed a man I thought was really into me do the slow fade until I called him out on it. That was before I found this sub, and I realize I should not have been so upfront with my feelings (I liked him and told him this). We got along really well and at first he was making an effort to see me, would bring me small gifts when we saw each other, was talking about taking trips together...I spent the night at his place and turned down sex twice with him and then after that got the slow fade. During that visit I also said I wanted to wait until we were exclusive ( UGH) and that I had taken Hinge off my phone ( god, I was so dumb to say this. I thought I was doing myself a favor by being hOnEsT).

I justified it, of course. He’s busy! Work is a lot! He just went on a trip! But deep down I knew. We decided to be friends after I called him on the phone and he said he wasn’t interested but wasn’t sure how to tell me. (So he was just going to send me random texts here and there and never make any plans and just wait for me to catch on, I’m assuming, or just be so thankful to hear from him because men are so wonderful?)

But after I agreed to be friends I found this sub, and now everything has changed. A weak passive man does not deserve the pleasure of my friendship. So guess who texted me today about what he’s going this weekend and guess who’s getting left on read?

These people are losers who can’t maintain proper communication or manage their emotions. Be glad you found this out sooner rather than later and learn from it!

When you say talk do you mean by text or by phone? The only thing that would bother me is the risque photos, did you have your face in the photos?
