Why is this mainstream feminism?
I had to unfollow a feminist Instagram account recently because they called the complaints about the jlo/Shakira halftime show an example sexism. Link It was their most upvoted post in recent history and all of the comments were saying that people complaining about women being oversexualized are "what's wrong with America".
What world am I living in? Why is lib fem so popular among women?

Because its easier to swallow than facing the ugly truth.
Liberal feminism is a chess move by powerful men who regret giving us freedoms (since we started using them and refusing to pander to LVM)....so in a panic to gain back their footing....what they have done is attempted to steer feminism in a direction that is still misogynist and to their greatest benefit but 'seems' empowering...that 'seems' like you have a choice in the way you are degraded. Its a trojan horse essentially. Now you can 'choose' to be a little pornified rag doll for their entertainment instead of being told to....sounds better huh? That's how powerful figures get people to self-govern themselves to their liking...by making them think its their own 'choice'. They have managed to get the women back in line again....off their own accord. The women are now 'choosing' to degrade themselves. Lib fems are obsessed with 'choice' for this reason to defend their flimsy logic...FDS says their choices are stupid/ self-sabotaging and have far reaching consequences we're entitled to criticise.
One of the main ways people are controlled is through fear, if you make people fearful to acknowledge the truth....they'll take the comforting lie every time because its less daunting. Plus many women have internalised misogyny and crave male validation at whatever cost to them. They haven't woken up to who's pulling their strings yet and to who's advantage. I think we all know the porn industry is set up to mens benefit.....since women are the ones that birth babies and don't want to live their life as a permanent porn doll that's constantly cheated on/ replaced. The porn industry again is a deliberate chess move by powerful men to belittle womens value / sexual agency and make them insecure/ chase after useless scrotes who otherwise wouldn't get a look in. Its deliberate- make the women do the pickmeisha dance so they get picked.
Unsurprisingly, most lib fems are passive characters without much of a backbone so they give into that fear response easily....they swallowed the lie. Most have several character flaws that allow their minds to be manipulated- insecurities, loose boundaries, naivety etc. I went to a university littered with them that has had a huge influence here...and not a single one of them had a backbone when it came to debate time and defending their ideas. And these weren't little girls either- grown women. They're loud on social media, but not in person. Its because deep down, they know their arguments are flimsy. How can women get anywhere, if women are going to jump on the self-sabotaging lib fem train and throw us under the bus? How are you going to get men to treat women as more than pump and dumps, if dumb women are going to allow LVM to choke them for breadcrumbs of attention and support the porn industry that encourages rape/ incest/violent fantasies? Liberal feminism is basically the ability to pick your own poison....they think its empowering because they get to choose which ways to poison themselves...as opposed to feeling totally helpless. But that actually just helps sustain the system....it doesn't attack it at the root. They're enabling mens porn sickness, rape fantasies, thirst for violence etc by defending and participating in the porn industry. What sort of effect do they expect that to have on men? And most these lib fems come from middle class backgrounds, so they're not doing it for survival. LOL its not going to make them see you as a full human and rush to settle down with you. Its not going to stop them sexualising little girls.
Yeah they may make some money for themselves off sex work...but at what cost to other women? How many husbands/fathers are their customers? How many pornsick scrotes is that fuelling? Do they really think they're going to get men to respect women more by overdosing them on porn, sex work and BDSM? More like feeding the greedy fat pig whilst he laughs to the bank.
The more porn fuelled you make men....the less they are going to see you as a human and the more they will see you as just a piece of replaceable meat to play with. It's common sense. And clearly that isn't taking women (especially mothers) any place good.

I watched the show and quite enjoyed it. How is it sexist? I have been a Shakira fan before she even made English music and her performance was tops in that show. I don't have an IG account so I can't see the post but can you give some more context on how this was sexist?

It was sexual objectification of female bodies from start to finish. I feel like that performance was the dance embodiment of what this sub calls "pickmeisha" behavior.
Scantily clad women spinning on stripper poles? Thrusting their crotches into the camera? Mock bondage? Grinding her ass into a guy's crotch and simulating sex as a dance move? It was so undignified.
They might as well have said "I'm not like those other boring women musicians who demand to be taken seriously or treated with dignity. I'm HOT and I'll pretend to be whatever it is your male fantasy thinks a woman should be! And I'll do it on national television so the women and young girls of America don't forget that in this country, females are sex objects."
And then liberal feminism was like "omg wow! How empowering! It was really brave of those women to shake their asses at a TV camera"
The post was basically saying anyone who didn't celebrate women being reduced to their sex appeal is anti-feminist.

Respectable men won't consume porn because they have the empathy to see women as humans as opposed to objects.
Porn usage can fuck your brain in many ways.
This sub is showing the reality and making women realize the dangers in the dating arena. This is a strategic sub so expect bluntness.

Well I feel in post apocalyptic woke culture- a touch of bluntness is needed to get the message through.
Stepping on eggshells around the fact that lib fem logic leads to women being choked to death by violent men will not get us anywhere.
I think it is 'tasteless' that grown adult women are setting us back decades and telling teenage girls that selling their nudes to old men on OnlyFans is 'empowering' when 1000000s of other women are doing it.

And if I may be blunt myself, I feel like it's tasteless. Not only that, but you're blaming women for the problems porn has created. They're just symptom of the culture, not the cause. And making fun of them, especially like this, will only alienate them because you're forcing them to look away from you instead of seeing you as an example of how women should treat men who engage in unhealthy pornographic behavior.
Porn is fucking awful, I agree. But these women need help, and they're never going to come to this sub if every time they visit they see people making fun of them in such a harsh way. Before I followed this sub, I thought porn was fine. I had a hunch that it was causing problems, but I didn't understand the extent until I starting reading the materials posted. If I had visited this sub and saw memes that said "Only stupid bitches let their men watch porn" or whatever, I would not have returned.
My point is, it's not the message, it's how it's being presented and who it's being presented to.
