Or does every one else’s stomach literally lurch when they’re swiping on OLD apps? From every 100 profiles, aka approximately 10 minutes wasted, there might be ONE decently attractive man.

Between all the men with terrible hygiene, ridiculously high standards, and immediate red flags in their profile, there might be ONE person I match with. Great? On to the conversation:

Within the first 5 minutes of the conversation these men usually say something completely out of line, although their profiles didn’t raise any immediate red flags. I would say a good 99% (doesn’t matter their age) think it’s perfectly acceptable to offer a low effort date such as a walk or “drinks.”

This makes me immediately unmatch them because they’ve basically reduced me to nothing and are expecting my standards to be so low. I am a fairly attractive woman who has no shortage of attention in real life. Why would they even try to woo me with the proposition of a walk and a drink? Walks are for dogs. I don’t drink with strange men from the internet. The cost of drinking in many cases is the same as eating out at a mid-price restaurant. What’s the difference? The difference is I can’t get drunk off a chicken alfredo, which means OLD scrote has a reduced chance of taking advantage of me without consent.

So the cycle continues. Waste time on dating apps, match with one person, talk, unmatch.

Nothing good comes out of OLD. I don’t care if you met your “HVM” on an app, it’s few and far between that it actually happens. OLD is teeming with low quality men with no respect for women. They see us purely as commodities they can swipe left or right to, then toss a line about drinks or walks which pickmeishas lap up.

The dates that I do go on have been with men that I’ve met in person ORGANICALLY! These men wine and dine me, and are eager to please. But since my standards are so high and I would rather not waste time in dead end situations, I let them know immediately that it’s not going to work out. A lot of these men have been respectful, but there also have been men who believed I owed them something because they invited me to dinner. The ones that have this mentality are the same LV guys on OLD, coincidentally.

tl;dr: Online dating is an absolute waste of time if you’re on a quest to find your HVM. Use this time in lockdown to build and develop yourself and prioritize your well being. The likelihood of meeting a HV man is far greater in person.
