Simply be female, live, breathe, and speak. Next level difficulty is not hiding your brain, showing intelligence, having opinions, having boundaries, refusing to let others violate those boundaries, being willing to get violent/mouthy if someone tries anything, centering yourself, your wants, your needs. I could go on.

I am so tired for being villainized for asserting my boundaries. The last man I broke things off with called me stubborn, competitive (in a negative context) and grumpy.
I’m not fake laughing at anyone’s jokes anymore. I’m not letting anyone waste my time. I’m not putting a man I’m only dating, before my work, my friends, and my family.
I will gladly nope tf out everytime a man perceives me living according to my standards as difficult, stubborn, competitive or “grumpy.”
Boy, bye. 👋🏽

Telling guys that I’m extremely stubborn has been a fantastic vetting strategy. Most of them take that as a challenge to break me. I date the ones that don’t pull that crap.

Very few “difficult men” out there…

Most men are difficult, our culture just uses different wording for it. Assertive! Motivated! aLpHa! 🙄

If I am blunt at work, I get told I "have an attitude". If a man were to do the same thing, no one would care and people would think he was being "direct".

I’ve been told I have an attitude a lot…I’m not even mean

I always remember the first time I realized this. Was a teenager in high school, and this asshole guy who always said asshole things but was somehow kind of popular and was thought of as a funny guy would always have to add to his "jokes" afterward, "I'm just really sarcastic." And I would always immediately think, "No, you're just really an asshole, but allowed to get away with it because people with dicks can't be 'catty', so we just say they're 'sarcastic' and 'witty'."

Yep...that's why I "don't get a second date," lol. I let it all the feminism out and watch them squirm. It's hilarious 🤣. I don't want a second date with them, either but even if I did, they should know what they're dealing with up front. So I don't hold back. The patriarchy is mentioned numerous times and that's usually the un-deal clincher. I'd rather know if they're a scrote and not waste my time.

And ain't that a shame? I think so

I remember when I wasn’t “difficult”. I think it was harder to be the quiet and submissive type of woman. It was always a struggle hiding who I was and pretending to be something I wasn’t.

I'd rather be called difficult than easy. Anyday
