This happened to me at an amusement park. I was 12 and my period came early. My dad was walking ahead furious and embarrassed of me. Meanwhile my mom was very supportive and went with me to the bathroom to find the pad dispensers. Thank god for mothers.

The reason for anger like this from a father towards a daughter over starting her period... I just...I just can’t even begin to fathom! These “adults“ seem to lack any self awareness whatsoever and not an oz of compassion.
