The truth is, if you can spend 40+ hours a week working at a job that doesn't respect your talents and efforts, and then put even more time on someone who also doesn't respect you (I know many of us are here due to past toxic relationships), you can consciously spend 40 hours/week on yourself.

You can spend that time on anything on yourself as long as it HELPS YOU LEVEL UP. This can look different for different people. For some, it might be therapy, self help books, journaling, and meal planning. It might be nurturing relationships with nontoxic friends and family. It might involve picking up new hobbies or rekindling old ones.

This weekend I put aside 8 hrs/day to study and make plans for my next move, which involves taking an entrance exam.

During the week I try to spend at least 1 hr/day on some kind of exercise.

Anytime someone asks me for my time, I ask myself,"How does this serve me?"

How do you plan to level up???
