Like hell they don’t. I am in my early thirties and (genuinely, actually) get carded regularly - thanks melanin! I went on a date with a guy my age and his hairline was leaning all the way back, he was skinny fat, and his face was full of lines. Men are delusional if they think they look fine forever. Even my zaddy Brad Pitt doesn’t look the way he did at 25 - and he’s a one-of-a-kind specimen. For run of the mill dudes - tuh!

I got carded by a male server over the weekend while I was out with a few clients. He easily could have passed for mid-thirties. The clients started laughing and teasing me a bit for being the only one who got carded. The guy's face went white when he looked at my birthdate. He was like "oh.. you're the same age as me..." and acted pretty deflated for the rest of the night.
Brad, Leo, M-P Gosselaar, Jake Gyllenhaal.. they're all wealthy as shit and former young hotties and now? Could pass on any of them, honestly.
Scrotes think their twenty-somthing fat, already balding, broke, don't-know-how-to-moisturize asses are going to age half as well as them? lol. ok.

I am 39, and recently have become the type that people BALK at my license and do a double take because I look maybe 26 or 27 and also regularly get confused for a college student. Thanks, sunscreen!

Same. New kid at the neighbourhood liquor store carded me for a bottle of wine. He was maybe 19. A guy behind me chuckled saying,”he wants her number” But I was not having it. “I’m almost 40! You’re carding me when I’m old enough to be your mother?!” laughter erupts from the men in the store “He just wants a date, sweetheart!” So I took out my ID and the kid apologized immediately. The old, POS men that thought this type of harassment was funny to get a “girl’s” number also stopped laughing when they saw the kid apologize profusely. “I am so sorry ma’am, I thought you were my age!” And the dickheads all around suddenly took more interest in me saying what a compliment it was being carded...of course many offers to buy me bottles of champagne and wine suddenly appeared. Fuck. You. It’s humiliating, not flattering, being treated like a piece of meat to be passed around to the highest “bidder” who spends the most on me.
I’ve also decided to take up kick boxing now 😘

Went to a bar with a gf last weekend and the bouncer kept looking at my id for a long time, I took off my glasses cause my photo doesn’t have any on it. I’m like “is everything ok?” And he’s like. “Yeah, it’s just your birthday is off by about 10 years” lmao I’m 36.

I got carded by a late 30s server, (I’m early 40s) bc I was buying beer and out with my teen daughter. He was shocked when he realized I was OLDER than him.

You know that chilly, hair-standing-on-end adrenaline feeling you get when you see something spooky and your brain can't decide whether or punch it or run away? Jesus christ.

In my mid-thirties - I also get genuinely carded. In my case - thanks sunscreen. :) I know women in their early forties who still get carded for real (ie not just a standard "we have to card everyone who isn't elderly"). Women seem to age fast when they treat their bodies like dumpsters for booze and cigarettes and, in the case of pale women, go tanning all the time, but most women don't do that. Whereas even guys who take good care of themselves age fast. Sure, some of them take good enough care of themselves to age well. But they still age faster.
Men always think they look younger than they do though even when they have no external evidence at all.

I'm in my fifties now and stopped coloring my hair because it turned a beautiful silver, which I LOVE BTW and receive compliments about every day, so I don't get asked for my ID anymore. However, even when I was in my forties, when I was still dyeing my hair I would often be carded. The secret is as you say, exercise, healthy diet and avoiding too much sun.

I had an old guy try to joke with me that we went to highschool together. He was easily 30 years older.

It’s so hard finding a man who’s 30+ without a flat tire forming around his mid section with a bloated face. Every man I’ve dated who’s been thirty or above has been skinny fat or worse. Except one, but he was a doctor, and actually cared about his health.

if i had a penny for everytime a LVM said this
I went on a date with a guy who SURPRISE turned up way shorter than he stated and 10x cockier to make up for it and he slipped up with the 'men are born to spread their seeds shit' later in the evening when we got talking about views on modern relationships (he also said mens 'attractiveness' increases with age- i spent the £ just for the audacity)
I broke it down to him:
me: how so?
him: well they're biologically propositioned for it?
me: how so? Because if one mediocre male spreads his seed to 17 women realistically he can't provide for them all so most would end up struggling single mothers, those ones men seem to resent
him: *blinks*
me: so realistically if that was the case, lots of children would be growing up in poverty, fatherless...does that sound like something nature intended? I thought men didn't like other men raising their children? I thought children needed a father around?
him: *scratches head- looks awkward*
me: so in current times, that would lead to 17 women relying on you for child support? Wouldn't that be draining your pockets & make you upset?
him: yeahhh well..umm....*admits defeat*
me: case closed- so we agree that spreading seeds bullshit is really a thinly veiled excuse for men to remain immature & use lots of women for sex avoiding fatherhood whilst complaining about all those selfish women in their 20s holding off babies? Why would they want to settle down when so many men hold your views?
him: dO yOu WaNt AnOtHeR DrInK?

Men totally have a wall. I like older men but to be honest - i dont see any OK-looking, healthy, mentally stable older men. Not even taken or in a relationship.

Men absolutely show age and just like us, once we’re over 35 we can still look good but it take more effort. Men tend to be much lazier when it comes to most things including appearance. Women are used to doing a hundred different things to look better before leaving the house. That’s why you see so many couples where the woman is dressed well, nice hair and make-up and fit, while the man has totally let himself go, has man boobs, scrawny arms, a gut and is balding. But hey WE’RE supposed to be the ones scared of the wall and you know what, we are, so we take measures to keep it at a distance but they don’t think they need to and therefore look terrible.
