I get what she's saying and I agree with her, but at the same time, I'm tired of being told men and boys need to be "taught" about consent.

Men, and even boys, know what consent is. Rapists don't rape out of ignorance; they rape because they want to and because they enjoy violating a victim. There's no need to "teach" them because they already know and they don't care.

I hope I'm not coming across like I'm being critical of this woman in particular because that's not my intention. It's just... I don't think men and boys are as clueless as they make themselves out to be. They know what consent is when it's their bodies on the line. If a big, burly man treated them the same way they treat women (groping them, plying them with drinks, getting all up in their personal space, etc.), they'd understand bodily autonomy super fast and without any need for education.

Teach guys about consent? One of my rapists told me the first time we had sex, "If you don't like something, just say no." Well, I said no and he didn't care later on.

He knew what consent was, but rapists love violating consent. They don't care. That's my one criticism of this clip.
