I loathe the word “compromise.” It always seems to mean that I don’t get what I want right now but I will next time. Except next time, I’ll still have to make a “compromise.” Yet if you don’t go along with a compromise, you’re being hard to get along with. 🙄🤡🤡🤡

LVM cannot handle you being better than them. If you ever drop your standards and date one, he will break you down in different ways and try to assert himself as the more logical one, the more organized one, whatever. Why would you do that to yourself? Keep your standards and only marry a man you respect and who matches your drive.
