I had a dream last night I was on a first date with this huge football player (??) and I had to run an errand and someone I know, slept with him and said that she couldn't help it, she liked him a lot. I cussed her out and left. He approached me and was apologetic and I forgave him. And I took him back. I woke up and thought, "I'm still a pickmesha in my dreams"

The reason I bring this up, after being single (post-divorce) for 2 years and no relationships, I find myself longing for "someone" to feel a connection with. But I also recognize this is what puts me in bad relationships. Just "needing to be close" to another human. The eventual need for intimacy blinds me to everything. I know that.

It sucks, but I assume this is part of the process?

Anyone else finding the journey super hard from who we were, to who we need to be?
