I have a good one about housework dodging.

Years ago I lived with a guy and we were moving house. We needed to clean the house properly before giving the keys back to the landlord.

On cleaning afternoon, the boyfriend has sneaked out the house. Then there’s a knock at the door. It’s his MOTHER with a bucket of cleaning equipment, saying he called her and asked her to come round to help me clean!

I send her away, and call the landlord and ask him if we can give the keys back one day later. The boyfriend comes back home when he thinks it’s all done, I pass him the cleaning stuff, tell him I sent his mother away and he has an extra day to do his half. He had an almighty strop like a toddler - and I should have for broken up with him there and then.

Y'all this girl is a forever girlfriend who's been hopelessly devoted to her useless boyfriend for like 5+ years. (I used to follow her.) They both make youtube videos (aka non location-dependent income), have too much money, and yet have been long distance that whole time. It's really ironic to see a video like this from her.

The one time he was cleaning the toilet, holy moly.

My ex husband used to leave his pants and socks on the floor. When I asked him to pick them up he’d say “there are dirty dishes in the sink.”

Unless I had kept the house spotless at all times, he would refuse to pick up his own pants off the floor.
