Hey everyone, this is going to be a "pat on the back" for all those who are going through a breakup and need some comforting words.

After being dumped by my LVX a year ago, I went through a bad depressive period, which was made worse by quarantine. The breakup was intense, but it allowed me to finally focus my whole attention on the things that really matter to me. I went to therapy, worked hard on my childhood traumas, cultivated my friendships, spent time with my family, started taking care of my body, learnt everything about toxic relationships and read tons and tons of posts here on Female Dating Strategy. Basically, I came back stronger than a 90s trend and now I feel great about my new-found singlehood.

Well, the same can't be said about my LVX, aka Mr. Perfectly Fine.

Even though last year I explicitly told him that I can't be friends with him, that I don't want to stay in touch, that I agree with the breakup and that we need to move on with our lives, he texted me last night at 5 am to ask me whether we can see each other as he got nostalgic looking at our pics together.

They always, always come back. When you least expect it, to boot. And when they do, you don't care about them anymore. Which is why I left him on read.

Stay strong ladies, and please remember that LVM and NVM don't want you specifically, they only want what you can do for them (in my case, I was his full-time therapist, free of charge, and apparently he expects me to fulfil this role even now that he doesn't mean anything to me, go figure).
