Hi ladies, if you remember me, I posted a few days ago about communicating my standards with a guy and nothing changed. I decided to cut him off after he took 24 hours to respond to my last text.

You ladies are right. LVM always come back when you ignore them. Last morning, a few days after I ghosted him, he reached out again. I blocked his number on my phone but couldn’t do so on my computer, so I saw the text. It was the classic “I saw [...] and thought you’d like it.” I don’t know what I was thinking. Maybe I felt his text warranted a response. Maybe I hated being rude. Anyway I responded nicely and asked how he was doing. And... he never replied.

Why does he do that? The only thing I can make sense of is him playing games with me. He just wanted to bait out my response and ghost me instead. But what’s the point? He clearly showed his disinterest by taking long hours to reply and not giving a shit after I communicated with him, and I reciprocated that disinterest. And mind games like this? It’s such an immature thing to do. I really thought he was better than this.

Now I just feel really stupid. Not only because I responded to someone who already proved himself a LVM, but also I honestly believed he was better than the petty game playing scrote he is. I feel stupid and disgusted.

Would you reply to a seemingly nice text from a guy you’ve ignored? And what should I do to be more ruthless mentally and avoid being played in the future?
