I no longer respond to small talk or pointless "hey what's up" messages from men. These men will "good morning beautiful" you to DEATH and have nothing concrete to offer you.

I ran into a guy I dated back in 2018 who I had stopped speaking to. He starts showing an interest in me so I immediately tell him that I no longer accept low effort from men and if he's pursuing me then he needs to do it correctly. He agreed 100% and said he plans to take me on a date soon.

Every other day he would come with the dumb "hey what's up? how are you? how is work?" texts and I haven't been responding. Then he comes and says he wants to see me and if we can't "sit and talk." I respond to tell him that I already told him I'm not accepting low effort from men and that if he wants to spend time with me he needs to plan a date because I am not using my valuable time to "sit and talk." By sit and talk I'm sure he means he wants to come to my apartment and convince me to have sex with him or sit in his car and talk LOL. Anyway he responds and says "yes, a date was always the plan."

Would you believe he still hasn't asked me on a date and is still sending me "hey whats up" every other day? I've now deleted his number and muted and archived his chat.

Meanwhile, a very nice man took me on a brunch date last weekend and I went out for sushi with another prospect last night. They have both been texting me with interesting topics of conversation based on our mutual interests. I will actually be spending NYE with one of them and I'm excited about that.

Stop giving your attention and energy to low effort men. Stop telling them what they need to do or how they need to act. Why are you offering free life coaching services to these men? They already know how to act but they're hoping you will tolerate the bullshit. Just leave them on read and delete the chat and save your energy for yourself and for any HVM that comes correct.
