I despise how one-sided social media is in siding Johnny Depp. They seem to forget or excuse a few things that are red flags. I’m not saying Amber Heard is a saint, since she admitted on tape to hitting him and allegedly cut his finger, but they BOTH seem toxic.

Red flags

  1. He texted his friend about burning/drowning her and r*ping her corpse. Many men say he was just “venting” because Amber was so evil, but I’ve never spoken that way about anyone. Even though I got sexually assaulted, I never talked about my abuser with that much malice. Giant red flag here if I’ve ever seen one. The worst thing I’ve heard Amber allegedly call him is a “fat old man”.

  2. Johnny Depp literally went around their kitchen “assaulting cabinets” according to him. He literally wrecked their kitchen in a drunken rage. I know he didn’t hit her, but this seems like a precursor to abuse. So many men say that this is normal and that genuinely terrifies me. He’s not being violent towards her FOR NOW, but he’s creating a mess and potentially scaring her. If I saw a man do that, I’d be terrified because I’d be wondering “what if he did that to me next”.

  3. Johnny Depp has a history of assaulting people and has been arrested for it.

  4. The couple’s therapist said that they were mutually abusive.

  5. The courts in the UK found that Amber’s accounts of abuse were substantially true. The legal system has already investigated this previously and found that Amber’s accounts were reliable.

  6. Amber hasn’t even been allowed to testify yet or show her evidence and people already hate her.

So with all this in mind, why are people just flaming Amber instead of both of them? Men are using this as an opportunity to paint all women claiming abuse as liars and women as potential abusers. Talk about male privilege lol.
