We got to stop dating men we don't find attractive. Point. Blank. Period. Your knees want to buckle! Stop going on multiple dates because he seems nice and you want to give him a chance to turn you on maybe. It just doesn't work out that way. We have desires and we have attractions and they matter.

This generation it's time to break free from the myth that women don't care much about looks. Yes we do. We need to stop lying to ourselves about it and ignore the lies from manmade media that push this narrative. It doesn't mean you have to be with anyone just because he is conventionally "attractive" and desires you, no, none of that either.

Looks are part of the package. Besides, short men or ugly men, they're not particularly nice anyway. They are definitely not more likely to be high value. It is really a waste of time.

Ugly is pretty subjective. I'm way pickier about character, personality and behavior than I am about looks. That's not to say you should lower your personal standards for anyone. Even horribly unattractive men feel completely entitled to women who meet THEIR standards.

If they treat me well, are polite and attentive= a HVM, I am more prone to finding him "attractive".

I can't tell you the amount of times I was attracted to someone before hearing them speak. Personality, respect and ambition matter.

Attraction comes with a stable situation and being a HVM.

Lol I've never ever agreed to this. Even as a kid when people used to say looks don't matter I used to retort that my husband needs to be handsome. I've always maintained that when I wake up in the morning and look at his face I want to feel happy.

I kinda wonder abt where the "ugly" comment was coming from bc personally I'm not attracted to nor would ever date a man who was like model beautiful/super conventionally attractive. Bc then they think they're special, they're vain, and can get any girl they want and don't treat you right.

My friends and I joke but are also serious that you should date a man who is not as attractive as or more attractive than you, BUT whom YOU find to be v attractive.

However I would not say to date a man who's "a little bit ugly" like that exact phrasing. Bc you should not find him ugly at all, like why date him then?
