Need to get into shape? Buy hand weights, produce, and protein powder. Can't afford it? Get a job or start a business. There is no excuse to be obese today, there is just no accountability for the high-calorie intake sedentary lifestyles of the west. Quit soda and any sugary drinks first, increase your fiber/vegetable/fruit and lean protein intake.

I don’t know why it is, but I just can’t think of many things I care less about than being physically fit.

I weigh 135 pounds and I am a twig. I like my body and have hardly any downsides to being as weak as I am physically in the modern era as all of my utility comes from my mind.

I’m sure I’m missing out on something. But I cannot see a reason for hyping it up to this degree.

Compared to today where we’re surrounded by sugar, technologies, fed with the 3-6 meal scams and we have it too easy which makes it much difficult for us to stay in shape.

This is absolutely true. Doing any physical activity over time will make you better at not only the sport you do, whether it is going to the gym, playing basketball, running, swimming, but will also help you shift your mindset. You should focus on yourself, on your own health, your own physique., your own success. Stop unnecessarily wasting time on other people. Working on your self is the best way to become a better person overall and what better way than physical training is there really?

Trust me, as you progress in whatever physical activity you do, you will automatically start to feel better as a person in every life situation.

Been working out for many years and share a highly underrated tip that hopefully can benefit you guys.

Look into SMR (self-myofascial release). Specifically, check out the Hyperice Hypervolt.

More convenient than foam rollers (static or electric). Can use daily pre- or post-workouts and watch your recovery skyrocket.

I've done intense workouts back-to-back using this vs. before had to rest for longer periods due to tight muscles.

17 years of Jiu Jitsu... my left wrist is probably the only large joint in body left that hasn’t been damaged. Lol. I’d rather take a few pain pills every now and then, than have to take daily meds for weight related problems. Healthy wise, physically I feel better now than I ever did in my late teens and early twenties.
