Actually, the central MGTOW principle appears to be forging your own identity to self-defined success. I'm married, but do not define myself by the wife. She is timid and submissive and religious. Does not lead me around by the nose at all (occasionally wants me to accompany her on shopping runs). Enjoys her job and turns all her money over to me for managing it and has very frugal shopping habits. Presents her ideas, but always submits to my decisions.
If I were single, I would not get married again or even seek out a girlfriend. I have other means to deal with physical desires. No question at all regarding who is in charge here. She can leave anytime if she wants to, but recognizes how good she has it and chooses to stay. Also, due to the religious belief, she is solidly convinced that cheating would land her squarely in hell. Ok by me, though I don't subscribe to that channel - but each to their own.

My ex kept saying she deserved better. One day I told her to get out of my house and go find it. She stole my silverware. I bought all brand new the next day. I kept my finances a secret for 2 years, she never knew I had tons of savings. I wanted to see how long before she started in with the insults and saying she deserved better. 2 years. I’m free and NEVER looking back.
