There is so much delicious irony about these women's protests. From the lead organizer being a woman trying to promote Sharia law as "empowering" to the fact that they were excluding groups of women who held some conservative beliefs (pro-life) despite claiming the march was not partisan.

It was the perfect encapsulation of women's lunacy really.

There was a post in a thread about this where it was explained the event coordinators asked the protesters to leave the signs on the side of the street on the last block of the route. It sounded like the city arranged it like this because it would make cleanup easier, not overfilling every trash can in the city and instead concentrating things for their sanitation department

The national park service actually said that the trash was very reasonable considering how many people were there and that it was right after the inauguration. The trash cans apparently filled up very early but those who did leave behind trash were nice enough to pile it up in convenient stacks next to the trashcans. I mean hate to stop the narrative.
