We're not even half way through 2018 and I feel this weird shift going on. Something IS happening. I'm a very observant person by nature and I've watched people for years. There is a shift going on in how the average guy interacts with the average girl, or lack thereof. I am now seeing fewer and fewer guys approach, stand near, and even carry on conversations with women. For better or worse, something big will be happening this year as a result.

I'm now seeing many popular YouTube comment sections flooded with MGTOW comments. I've been hearing chatter from various friend groups. The girls always begin complaining about being single. It's never "Hiiii wildfireboat how are youuu? How's the family?? It's now "Still singleeeee hehe sarcasticdepressionface". The guys I keep in touch with are going golfing, hiking, motorcycle riding, biking, coding, woodworking, martial arting, building, etc on the weekends and I will see them post about their time with not a damn girl in site. I highly doubt they all visit MGTOW sites, but I think they know. I think they get it. They may not know that our acronym exists but they behave accordingly. Maybe they do talk about it. Maybe they don't.

There's an unspoken understanding of what's going on these days. How society treats guys. And I don't mean directly, I mean what guys see on a day to day basis and how that affects their psyche. You've heard this classic female complaint: "I should be able to wear whatever I want without guys staring at me". It's this thinking that has turned good teenage girls into instagram whores. They really think they can post ass pictures every week and still be treated like someone who's been quietly studying string theory all of their life. The women really do think they can wear club attire to the office/schools/street and be treated like wholesome marriageable people. That's what I mean when I allude to how society treats guys. It's the spreading of misinformation of how guys think and act, the treatment of how they believe guys should act, and the blame best on guys for acting how they've always acted. It's indirect gaslighting perpetrated by the hive mentality of women.

I've been to many big cities in the last few years and in zero have I felt there are large amounts of down-to-earth women ready for long-term pairing. I can even feel the amount of guys they've slept with just by looking at what they're wearing alone. All of them. Leggings. Transparent spandex. Loose cutout shirts with no bra. Skin tight booty shorts. Chokers. Caked on face paint. Their necks tilted downward 45 degrees staring at their phone lit up with instagram pictures, facebook feeds, etc. And these were the upper 20s, lower 30 year olds I met. My immediate reaction was "I want nothing to do with these people. I'll wait it out and see if I meet anyone not into themselves who would treat me like a guy that likes to do his own thing sometimes". But, at the moment, I have not met a single woman that has not tried to change me to fit their standard of "man". There's something happening folks.

I work in a corporate setting in a suit. While I work, many of the young (18-35) women pass by my office in skirts, shoulderless blouses, low cut fronts. There is one guy that talks to the lot of them and best of luck to him, but I've noticed something else going on. I've literally seen some guys make a quick left or right turn when a woman rounds the corner. I've noticed many of the other guys not even stare, look up, or acknowledge the women who do walk by. No stares, no heads popping up, not a care in the world.
