Red pill rage / r/MGTOW : Realizing how many women have been abusing the system and getting angry at all women.
Red pill acceptance / r/MGTOW2 : Many men accept it is what it is and start focusing on their own lives, and avoid LTRs & marriages or be very careful with LTRs & marriages.

Most of bad reputation is from r/MGTOW and tbh they have every right to be angry. Unfortunately for them, Reddit is heavily controlled by the left. This place is more chill.

Mgtow in general is hated because it’s an attempt to look at life and answer some uncomfortable questions. It’s similar to a child only admitting they got an A because it’s good, vs saying the teacher gave them an F. Taking accountability for your life and how that impacts others is a terrifying thing for many people.

But that’s a philosophical discussion that’s rare to see in MGTOW with the exception of a few key places.

MGTOW 1 became a cesspool of haters, black pillers and incels. Not much left of what it used to be. It became a circle jerk men club hating and laughing at women for whatever reason. Toxic tribalism. Many of them don't move on to actually live their lives on their own terms avoiding psychological and systematic traps, they fell for one - the security of their tribe. Dwelling in shit like a pig. It bothers me a lot that instead of understanding there are different kinds of incels and breaking up that word into different words, people sort of tossed out the word “misogyny” and now everyone hostile to women is an “incel.” This sucks because someone who “hates women” is not necessarily the same as someone who is “involuntarily celibate.” We still need both words.

I am a self-described feminist woman who lurks here sometimes. Around half of the stuff here I’d consider good advice actually, but there’s definitely some iffy stuff from some people. I don’t understand the narrative of every (or even most) woman is (seemingly) out to manipulate you and take from you, though. I understand the dangers seeing as one of my male family members had everything taken from him from his ex wife. I can see the perspective through that situation at least, but I genuinely don’t believe there’s even a large pool of women (or men for that matter) “like that.” Maybe I am naive; I don’t have the perspective of a man after all, but I also don’t think relationship dangers are a one-sided issue. Overall, this sub is ok. I wouldn’t call it hateful either.

Incel is clearly a way to try and shame us, as a mgtow I have no problem getting with women and from what I’ve read here many men here appear to have zero problems with women as well. The only difference is we’re smart enough to not ensnare ourselves in a lopsided government contract and I think that makes others jealous. Lastly a lot of men become mgtow only after having been with women or divorce raped so the whole incel theory is very illogical.

Part of going MGTOW means you have to forgo the judgements and definitions of others.

Going your own way means you stop accepting someone else's truth and use your own powers of observation to determine what you believe.

Since we live in a world that hates men, we have to decide if we should believe the world (and live a life of shame, constantly trying to overcome all the flaws someone else assigned to us) or whether maybe a world such is false, and therefore doesn't really matter.

MGTOW is "hateful" because those who hate themselves project that hatred into men. Those of us who aren't willing to play along with it are irritating to them. We are "hateful" because we do not accept their hatred.

It's kind of like how something appears green, because it reflects the green light back at the observer.

I came to this group just to check how fucked up it was (and to see if the post is still here) bc a year ago my ex made a post basically telling everyone I was sexually abused as a child and how he “tHaNkFuLlY” forced me to have an abortion when he knocked me up and everyone proceeded to text and comment calling me “damaged goods” and to dump me.
